As Deputy State Director of the Virginia League of United Latin American Citizens (VALULAC), Tarrazzia connects community voices across neighborhoods, counties, and the Commonwealth to broader civic, educational, and economic opportunity efforts that strengthen Latino families and promote inclusive participation at every level of civic life. Among her many accomplishments is the establishment of a community resource hotline that connects families with local services and support when they need it most.

A devoted resident of Dale City, Tarrazzia also serves as Chair of the Prince William County Latino Caucus, where her leadership has transformed the county’s rapidly growing Latino population into a powerful force for sustained and meaningful civic engagement. Through her work, the Latino community’s voice has gained visibility and momentum, and participation in civic events and voter engagement has flourished.

Her influence expands far beyond local engagement. Tarrazzia has built bridges across communities, founded and led cross-community coalitions such as the Black–Brown Coalition, and fostered dialogue, trust, and collaborative action that strengthens relationships and brings people together to address shared challenges and shared opportunities.
